Elinor Richardson (Isaack,
Katherine), the daughter of Isaac and Catherine Richardson, was born on the 28th day of the 10th
month, 1714, according to the records of the Goshen Monthly Meeting in Chester
County, Pennsylvania US11. A very similar birth record was found in the “Register Booke of Births of ye People called Quakers
in ye Citty and County of Chester” for the Quarterly
Meeting of the Society of Friends of Cheshire and Staffordshire EN16. This birth record
states that Ellen, the daughter of Isaac and Cath. Richardson of “Ovr. Whilley”, was born on
the 29th day of the 10th month, 1714 EN16. A review of the handwriting of additional birth records of
children born in that same location indicates that “Ovr. Whilley”
actually means “Over Whitley”, which is likely Higher Whitley in Cheshire
County. She was named in her father’s will, dated October 14, 1726 PE24.
Mary
Parker was mentioned in the will of her father on October 21, 1752 PE7. Elizabeth Parker was mentioned in the will of her
father on October 21, 1752 PE7. The
records of the Kennett Monthly Meeting in Chester County, Pennsylvania state
that Elizabeth Parker, the daughter of Abraham Parker (deceased), late of
Kennett Township, Chester County and his wife, Eleonor Parker, married William
Reynolds, the son of William Reynolds of Orange County, North Carolina,
on the 29th day of the 7th
month, 1761 at the Kennett Public Meetinghouse in a ceremony witnessed by
Eleonor Parker, David Reynolds, Elizabeth Chads, Henry Reynolds, Mary Reynolds,
and others US11. Elizabeth and William Reynolds were the parents of David
Reynolds, who was born on the 29th day
of the 6th month, 1762 and died in the 3rd month of 1763 US11.
Elizabeth (Parker) Reynolds died on the 1st day
of the 7th month, 1762 US11.
Lydia
Parker was mentioned in the will of her father on October 21, 1752 PE7 but she was not mentioned in the petition of her mother on June
16, 1761 which named only two minor children, who were Kezia and John Parker,
and was not mentioned in her mother’s will, dated May 23, 1790 CH21.
John
Parker was mentioned in the will of his father on October 21, 1752 PE7 and in the will of his mother, Eleonor Wickersham, on May 23,
1790 CH21. The records of the Kennett Monthly Meeting state that John
Parker, the son of Abraham Parker, late of Kennett in Chester County,
Pennsylvania (deceased), married Hannah Milhous, the daughter of Thomas
Milhouse of Kennett Township, on the 2nd day
of the 6th month, 1774 at the Kennett Meetinghouse in a ceremony witnessed
by Thomas Milhous, Elizabeth Milhous, Elinor Wickersham, Elizabeth Chads, Kezia
Wickersham, Isaac Bailey, David Reynolds, William Reynolds, and others US11. The Kennett Monthly Meeting in Chester
County, Pennsylvania recorded the births of twelve children who were born to John
and Hannah Parker US11.
These were Abraham, born on the 12th day
of the 3rd month, 1775, Isaac, born on the 11th day of the 7th
month, 1776, Elizabeth, born on the 17th day
of the 3rd month, 1778, Thomas, born on the 11th day of the 12th
month, 1779, Joseph, born on the 8th day
of the 4th month, 1781, Benjamin, born on the 21st day of the 7th
month, 1783, Richardson, born on the 22nd day
of the 2nd month, 1785, John, born on the 20th day of the 9th
month, 1786, Susanna, born on the 2nd day
of the 8th month, 1790, Wister, born on the 28th day of the 1st
month, 1792, Caleb, born on the 22nd day
of the 9th month, 1793, and Mary, born on the 8th day of the 9th
month, 1796 US11. John and Hannah
suffered a great loss of life in July 1791, as four of their children died
within a span of two weeks. Isaac died on the 4th day of the 7th
month, Joseph died on the 8th day
of the 7th month, Richardson died on the 10th day of the 7th
month, and Hannah died on the 15th day
of the 7th month US11.
Hannah’s birth was not recorded amongst the rest of John and Hannah’s children.
In 1798, they lost another two children; Abraham died on the 4th day of the 2nd
month, and Mary died on the 20th day
of the 4th month US11. The
Kennett Monthly Meeting and the Philadelphia Yearly Meeting recorded the death
of John Parker; the minutes of the Philadelphia Yearly Meeting state “a
memorial from Kennet Monthly Meeting, concerning our late esteemed friend John
Parker, who was removed from the militant Church on the 12th of the 7th Mo.
1829, in the 81st year of his age,
having been an able minister amongst us, about fifty-three years, were read…” US11. This memorial indicates that his death occurred at age
eighty-one on July 12, 1829, and his age at the time of his death indicates
that he was born about 1748.

County, Pennsylvania state that Kezia Parker, the daughter of Abraham
(deceased) and Elioner Parker, late of Kennett Township, Chester County,
Pennsylvania, married Peter Wickersham, the son of William and Rachel
(deceased) Wickersham of Newlin Township, Chester County, on the 19th day of the 5th
month, 1773 at London Grove, Chester County, Pennsylvania US11. The records of the Kennett Monthly Meeting in Chester County,
Pennsylvania state that Keziah Wickersham, the wife of Peter Wickersham, was
born on the 5th day of the 8th month, 1751, and that Peter Wickersham was born on the 16th day of the 2nd
month, 1743 US11. The Kennett Monthly Meeting in Chester County,

Wickersham, died at age ninety-one on the 12th day
of the 7th month, 1842 and was buried at Marlborough US11. Her age at the time of her death indicates that she was born
about 1751.
