Robert Andrew married Sarah HI4. He may have been the Robert Andrew who witnessed the wedding ceremony of William Webster and Ann Smith on the 26th day of the 3rd month, 1748 at the London Grove Meeting House BJ1. Robert and Sarah Andrew were witnesses to the wedding of David Harlan and Allice Starr on December 16, 1756 at the New Garden Meeting House in Chester County, Pennsylvania BJ1. He became a member of the New Garden Monthly Meeting in Chester County, Pennsylvania on November 25, 1758, when a New Garden record stated, “Robert Andrew having for some time past Requested to come under frds [probably “friends”] care & he being here Renew’d his Request which after Consideration is granted” US11. Less than four years later, he and his family intended to move to Fairfax, Virginia, because a record from the New Garden Monthly Meeting in Chester County, Pennsylvania dated the 6th day of the 3rd month, 1762, stated, “Robert Andrew Requests a Certificate for himself, Wife & Children to Fairfax mo: Meeting in Virginia” US11. Robert Andrew, his wife, Sarah, and their “Five Young Children Viz, John, William, Jane, Katherine and Robert Andrew”, received that certificate on May 1, 1762 (“the 1st of ye 5th mo 1762”) US11.
