Ruth Brown, the daughter of Isaac Brown, was born on May 26, 1662 in Newbury, Essex County, Massachusetts VI28, MA26, HO19. Ruth Brown married Thomas Rogers on May 18, 1677 in Newbury, Essex County, Massachusetts VI6. Thomas and Ruth Rogers were the parents of nine children whose births were recorded in Newbury, Essex County, Massachusetts VI28. These were Thomas, born on August 14 or 15, 1678, Ruth, born on April 16, 1680, Susanna, born on March 17, 1681/2, Robert, born on April 5, 1684, John, born on July 11, 1686, Isaac, born on June 21, 1691, Stephen, born on August 2, 1693, Daniel, born on November 14, 1695 or 1698, and Jonathan, born on June 18, 1702 VI28. Thomas Browne, the son of Isaac Browne, was born on September 15, 1664 in Newbury, Essex County, Massachusetts VI28, MA26, HO19. He was probably the Thomas Browne who married Elisabeth Berry; their intent to marry was recorded on August 31, 1695 in Newbury, Essex County, Massachusetts VI6. Thomas and Elisabeth (or Elizabeth) Browne (or Brown) were the parents of nine children whose births were recorded in Newbury, Essex County, Massachusetts VI28. These were Sarah Browne, born on April 26, 1697, Mary Browne, born on February 10 or 11, 1698/9, Hanah Brown, born on June 29, 1701, Elizabeth Browne, born on May 4, 1703, Thomas Browne, born on December 8, 1705, Ruth Brown, born on June 16, 1710, Dorothy Brown, born on August 10, 1712, Lydia Brown, born on April 21, 1715, and Isaac Brown, born on June 5, 1719 VI28. Dorothy Browne, the daughter of Isaac Browne, was born on April 7, 1672 in Newbury, Essex County, Massachusetts VI28, MA26, HO20. An unnamed child of “Isac” Browne died on April 14, 1672 in Newbury, Essex County, Massachusetts VI6. It may be reasonable to presume that this unnamed child who died on April 14, 1672 may have been the first Dorothy born to Isaac and Rebecca and the child who was born on April 7, 1672 was named for her newly deceased older sister. An additional death record stated that Dorothy, the daughter of Isaack and Rebecca Brown, died on December 23, 1689 in Newbury, Essex County, Massachusetts VI6. Mary Browne was said to have been the unnamed child who was born to Isaac Browne on May 5, 1673 in Newbury, Essex County, Massachusetts HO20, PE12, VI28.
